Many people ask me on how to collect. Besides sharing my own experience, I always tell people to join The Young Collectors Circle. Based in Amsterdam but truly crossing borders.
YCC is an initiative from Stichting Art Projects & Nienke van der Wal. The aim of Young Collectors Circle is to inspire a new generation of art collectors; not only to enrich their own lives, but also to sustainably support the art sector. Their mission – Saving the art world, one artwork at a time – is currently more applicable than ever.
Every week Young Collectors Circle offers an exciting and varied online and offline program, where you will meet artists, professionals, seasoned collectors and other art lovers. Our events range from an exclusive behind the scenes tour at an auction house to a visit to an extraordinary private collection; and from a talk shows about the value of art to a peek inside artists’ studios. Digital events are presented at lunch time in US time zones and early evening in EU time zones.
And the good thing is,..a membership costs €10,- per month! Now that is what I call the best within anyone’s budget!
